Brown and blue always look lovely together, especially here where the teal that is technically referred to in the colour description, moves more towards a storm blue. Call it what you like, it is lovely and a very pretty umbrella to carry. It might be step too far in terms of style scrutiny, but this would look lovely carried with a brown and blue Prince of Wales check suit, or with one of our sky blue soyella shirts. Of course, it is also a great casual umbrella to carry with jeans! We can't ignore the carefully crafted solid chestnut stick and handle, the hand work involved making each piece unique. The umbrella has a broad 8 piece canopy, mother of pearl fastening and a matching interior rosette. The neckband features a Budd inscribed brass plaque. A fifth generation, family-run company, Maglia has produced umbrellas in Milan for over 150 years. Today the company is run by Francesco Maglia, an icon of the men's accessory world and a globally respected artistan. As with all Maglia umbrellas, each one is a true work of art, requiring approximately 70 steps to bring it to fruition.
